Puppy and Foundations

Puppy classes are important to develop your dogs body awareness, socialization, and brain development; not just to teach basic manners.  My classes are geared toward doing all 3 of these things in one class, making it more fun for you and your new puppy while keeping class size small for individualized attention.

Our goal is to teach your puppy manners while developing their brains to problem solve and become part of the learning process, rather then just robots following commands. Puppies that get to think give you better focus and have fun learning since they are involved in the learning process not just following cookies to do a behavior.

Our goal is not that every puppy will grow up to compete, although that is fine, but that every puppy and owner meet their goals to have a happy, fulfilled and long-term life together.

Class sessions are 5 weeks long; puppies 10 weeks or older only. We also have weekly board and train programs, email for rates.

Additionally, we hold regular foundation classes on a rotational basis for older puppies and adults. These classes range from Canine Good Citizen (CGC) to Farm Dog test prep to tricks. Check our class schedule page or email if you have a specific class interest that we do not have listed on our website as many of these classes are student interest driven.

What are some of the other foundational classes offered?
